As you gather today, remember, if that little baby had not come so long ago, there would be no hope and no light. He became Emmanuel, God With Us, because he loved us all so much! He wanted to save the human race all along. The little baby Jesus was the beginning of our salvation. He would finish our salvation with his death and resurrection. Now that little baby Jesus is King Jesus, seated at the right hand of the Father, and all authority in Heaven and on the earth has been given to Him. He calls us friends. The King of the universe calls us friends!
I can't think of a better reason to celebrate Christmas my friends!
