Wisdom’s Words LLC: A Statement of Purpose

Hello everyone!

The only thing that matters for me as a writer is that people are set free from the chains that bind them. This is why I write! I write so that you may know the freedom God has called you to. I write so that you may know Him as He truly is, not as He has been portrayed! I write so that through my life experiences you may see His grace and His care for me, even when I did not care for myself. I write so that you know you have hope! I do not write for me, I write for you!

In following with my purpose for these blogs, my books, and Wisdom’s Words LLC, I want to introduce a Bible verse I will be adding to my website and logos. This will be Wisdom’s Words, LLC’s purpose statement:

Proverbs 4:6 NIV; “Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.”

This verse is part of a larger statement by King Solomon in Proverbs about wisdom – something he had gained through trial, error and trust. Proverbs 4:7-9 NIV; “The beginning of wisdom is this: get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will give you a garland of grace for your head and a present you with a glorious crown.”

My goal in my writing is for you to not only get wisdom, but keep and apply it to your lives. I want to bring light to the dark places of this world, even those of your heart! I want to see you set free to live like you were meant to live! Jesus has done this for me, brought light to the dark places of my own heart, and I want to share that with you in my writing. He has indeed set me free!

Wisdom brings life, foolishness brings death. Wisdom as King Solomon says also brings grace. We are all in need of grace – unmerited, undeserved favor. Have I always used wisdom? Emphatically and sadly, no. There are many things I would like to reconcile or correct if that can be done while I’m on this planet. I will leave that up to God and do my part to correct wrongs done or mistakes made. I am to be open and available to make correction where I have gone wrong, that is my part. I can’t wait to see what God does!

I want to encourage all of you today, get wisdom above everything else! It will bring life to you! I wish I had the wisdom at 21 that I have at 42 now, it would have made all the difference in the world in some of my decisions. I can honestly say I was not pursuing wisdom, I was pursuing what I wanted back then. I am here to tell you that doesn’t work! In the end, it will leave you both broken and broke. But God! He has done so much for me to show me He was there even in my foolishness. He is always there, even when we are doing everything wrong. His love for us never changes and he never forsakes us!

Go to Him and get wisdom! Get it for yourself and your children! Get wisdom and keep it! I hope to be a small part of this wisdom gathering in your world. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life through my words. It is my honor and pleasure to serve all my readers in writing! Get wisdom! Seeking wisdom and with much love, Elizabeth
