To the American Church: Jesus will have Holy, not Harmful

Hello everyone! I have so much I want to say because there are so many things going on in the American empire right now that are unholy. However, in the interest of brevity and to call us all to love and repentance, I will be brief. I want to speak today to the American Church. If you are not a Christian and are reading this today, I think we can agree that sexism, greed, narcissism, manipulation, and predatory sexual behavior are not good for anyone inside or outside the Church. I have sat on this writing for almost two months because I did not want to be angry and harsh. The title of this blog is self-explanatory, and I will say it again – Jesus will have holy, not harmful. I do not think of myself as prophetic in the Old Testament sense, yet it is clear to me that the character of Jesus will expect no more and no less from the Church and anything and anyone associated with the Church. Integrity must be first if the American Church is to have any credibility left in this generation much less the next. The predators and narcissists who have long hidden among the sheep will be called to be accountable and take responsibility for their actions. There will be no more sanctuary for those who delight in evil and refuse to repent.

Today, I call the American Church to repentance! I call you to holiness! I call you to Truth! This is not the first time I have written such words. If I did not love the Church, I would not write them!

Do not turn your eyes away from the evil that lurks within your churches, your boardrooms, and on your stages. It is hurting and killing people! I call you to integrity, no matter what the cost! When secular artists and speakers have more integrity than the Church, we have a problem! When secular artists, executives, speakers, the media, and other leaders are quicker to call people to account than the Church, we have a problem!

Predatory sexual behavior and the sexism that drives it will be cleansed from the Church and anything and anyone associated with the Church! Do not allow the words “Biblical sexual ethic” and “family values” to come from wolves who prey on men, women, and children willingly and without remorse! We have enough of that being flamboyantly displayed by members of our government. Where are the true Shepherds? More victims will be exonerated in the coming days and years from many places in the Church. Some who have seen lifted high (and believed themselves above the laws of both man and God) will be brought down low. These “shepherds” will lose their ministries, their credibility, and their kingdoms because they are building for themselves and their pride has convinced them they are untouchable. God will reach out and touch them for the evil they have done to others and perpetuated in their congregations, their families, and their communities. I implore them to repent while there is still time!

Narcissistic leaders will be cleansed from the Church! Many of these leaders will lose everything. They have delighted in evil and witchcraft through manipulation for too long. They are the same ones perpetuating sexism and predatory behavior in our churches. They will lose their influence, their audience, and their anointing. They are wolves among the sheep, and they do not know the Shepherd. I implore them to repent while there is still time!

The lust for political power and materialism will be cleansed from His Church! The prosperity gospel of self and greed will be exposed for what it is – a fraud! Church, when we care for building our own wealth more than we care for building our communities we are worshipping another god. When we worship political power by attaching the Church to one political party or another, we are worshipping another god. When we have pastors and other shepherds fawning at and for the attention of any political official, we are worshipping another god. I do not care if that politician is a Christian or pretending to be one – he or she is not our God! Jesus will have no other god before Him! I implore us once again to repent for our foolishness!

The bottom line for the Church today is God will have holy with or without the American Church as it is now. The wolves will be rooted out and routed and they will be brought lower than they have ever been! God will be the only God of his Church. God will have holy - not greedy, not powerful, not proud, not predatory, not sexist, not narcissistic, and not racist. Keep your eyes and ears open wide!
