Run Through the Fields of Your Life

Hello everyone!

The title of this blog comes from a song I have in my music playlist called Fields of Your Life by Imagine This. I thought the picture I chose illustrates a field that perhaps the writer/singer was speaking of.

This song talks about how we are to approach life with wonder and joy. This song is over 20 years old now and it still means so much to me personally. I have approached much of my life with wonder and joy and still do. Yes, I have had some hard times and some lonely times but what I have learned is that Jesus was always there, just as the song says. He was always right there running through those fields with me, whether they were beautiful or whether they were barren. Through the fields of joy and sadness, He has been there. He carried me in sadness and He ran with me in joy.

He was and is always there. I take comfort in that thought. Nothing ever seperates us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39). Nothing ever has (despite how it may seem) and nothing ever will.

Here are some of the lyrics I will leave you with today. The writer said it better than I could ever say it:

Run through the fields of your life.

I'll never leave your side.

Just keep your hand in mine.

Run through the fields of your life,

and in the end you'll find

I was with you all the time.

Running through my fields with Him,

Elizabeth
